Mukhyamantri Teerth Darshan Yojana 2023 has been started by the government of Madhya Pradesh. This scheme provides for free pilgrimage for senior citizens above 60 years of age of the state. Benefits and Characteristics Of Mukhyamantri Teerth Darshan Yojana 2023

1. Under the scheme, elderly people of the state will be provided free pilgrimage.
2. The benefit of the scheme will be given to elderly persons above 60 years of age in Madhya Pradesh.
3. All kinds of assistance will be provided during the pilgrimage like medical, food, tourist insurance, guide, accommodation etc.
4. Single pilgrims above 65 years of age and citizens with more than 60 percent disability are eligible to be accompanied by a caretaker.

Eligibility Criteria for Mukhyamantri Teerth Darshan Yojana 2023

1. Applicant must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.
2. Applicant should not be an income tax payer.
3. The age of the applicant should be more than 60 years.
4. In case of women, there is a relaxation of 2 years i.e. they must have completed 58 years of age.
5. If a citizen is more than 60% disabled then there is no restriction regarding age.
6. Applicants can also apply by forming a group but the group should be of only 25 citizens maximum and not more than that.
7. The applicant should be physically and mentally capable and should not be suffering from any of the following diseases – TB, Congestive Cardiac, Respiratory Obstructive Disease, Coronary Insufficiency, Coronary Thrombosis, Mental Illness, Infection, Leprosy etc.
8. If the spouses wish to travel together, then if one of the spouses is eligible, the life partner can also travel, even if his/her age is less than 60/58 years.
9. It is mandatory for the applicant to submit a medical certificate in the application that he is physically and mentally capable of travelling, and is not suffering from any infectious disease.

1. The applicant has to attach a colored passport size photograph in the application form.
2. The application form has to be filled by the applicant in Hindi.
3. In case of emergency, it is mandatory to provide the mobile number and residential address of the concerned person.
4. It is prohibited to carry inflammable substances, intoxicants, any precious gems, jewelery etc. during the journey.
5. During the journey, it is requested that the passengers should not indulge in any conduct which may cause harm to the image of the state.
6. It is necessary to follow the instructions of the Supervisor during the journey.
7. Passengers are expected to carry weather appropriate clothing, woolen clothes, personal items like blanket, bedsheet, towel, soap, comb, shaving accessories, medicines etc.
8. It is mandatory for passengers to carry identity proof like Aadhar Card/Voter Card with them.
9. Covid protocol should be compulsorily followed during the journey.
10. The state government or any of its officers/employees will not be responsible for any accident or difficulty that may occur during the journey.
