What is Haryana Unmarried Pension Scheme 2023?

The Haryana government launched the Haryana Unmarried Pension Scheme 2023. Men and women over 40 years of age who are not married will get a pension of Rs. 2,750 a month under this scheme, up to the age of 60. This income will become an old age pension upon reaching the age of sixty. It was stated that the beneficiary’s bank account will receive this pension payment each month via Direct Bank Transfer (DBT). Approximately 1 lakh 25 thousand persons in the state would get pension benefits as a result of the introduction of this pension scheme.

Benefits and Characteristics Of Haryana Unmarried Pension Scheme 2023

1. The benefit of the scheme will be given to unmarried citizens of the state of 40-60 years of age.
2. The pension amount will be transferred directly to the bank account of the beneficiary.
3. Through this scheme, both men and women will be given Rs 2750/- per month as pension.
4. Pension will not be given to those people who are divorced and living in live-in relationship.
5. If any bachelor or widower gets married without informing the government and is still found taking pension, then strict action will be taken against him. The government will recover the pension amount from such a person with 12% interest.

1. The applicant must be a resident of Haryana.
2. The applicant’s bank account must be linked to Aadhaar card.
3. Only unmarried men and women of the state above 40 years of age and below 60 years of age will be eligible to apply.

5. The annual income of unmarried men and women should not exceed ₹ 1,80,000.

On 10th of every month, the authorities will provide information to the Social Justice Department, which will then look into everything.
