What Is Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana 2024?

In the Financial Year 2016–17, CM of Rajasthan, Shri Ashok Gehlot introduced the Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana 2024. The girls of Rajasthan will get Rs. 50,000/- under this scheme for their education from birth to the intermediate level.

Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana aims to raise awareness of girl’s problems in society and promote their education and well-being. Financial support of Rs. 50,000/- will be provided under this scheme in 6 different installments from the birth of the girl child who was born in government-owned and private medical facilities included in the Janani Suraksha Yojana on or after June 1, 2016, till her 12th education.

Benefits and Characteristics of Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana

1. Girls will benefit from this scheme as they will get the right to equality in society and also the education of girl child will also get promoted.
2. Total of 6 installments will be provided to the beneficiaries, first installment will be given at the time of birth of girl child.
3. The next girl born will be eligible for the benefit if the girl who has received one or two payments through this scheme dies.
4. This scheme will reduce the falling sex ratio by lowering the rate of girl-child death.
5. This will contribute to the development of a healthy social mindset towards girls and create an atmosphere in which the birth of girls will be celebrated with happiness.
6. Additionally, through Integrated Child Development Services, an effort will be made to connect all of the girls who have received the first payment to the Anganwadi centre.

Eligibility Criteria for Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana

1. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Rajasthan state.
2. The girl child should be born at a private medical facility licensed by the Medical and Health Department, or in any of the state government hospital.
3. The financial support of Rs. 50,000/- will be given to the girls who are born on or after June 1, 2016.
4. Beneficiarie’s parent’s must have an aadhaar or Bhamashah card.
5. The education of the girl child need to be provided by educational institute run by the state government.
6. All girls born in government and private medical facilities registered under the Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY) will get the first two installments.
7. Apart from the first two installments, only girls whose family has maximum two live children will be eligible to receive the benefits of further installments.

Some guidelines related to Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana

1. In order to get the benefit, the expected mother must give the Bhamashah card and the bank account information to the ANM/Asha/Anganwadi worker at the closest Anganwadi centre or at the government medical facility when doing an ANC or prenatal checkup.
2. The beneficiary girl will receive a special ID number under this scheme at the time of birth.
3. The parents must upload the declaration form related to two children along with the Mother Child Protection Card to apply.
4. Under this scheme, after applying for vaccinations the Medical and Health Department will deposit the money into the beneficiary girl’s parent’s bank account on the female child becoming 1 year old.
5. The Health Department’s Mamta card or PCST ID must be submitted in order to get the benefits of the second installment.
6. To get the benefit of the first and second installments, the beneficiary girl’s parents do not need to apply. Its benefit will be given under the Shubh Lakshmi Yojana.
7. When the girl child receives admission in 1st class, she will receive the third installment.

How To Apply For Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana?

You need to fill offline form to apply for this scheme. The entire process of this scheme will be done by any teacher or Shala Darpan ID holder through Shala Darpan portal. If you want to apply for Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana 2023, then visit your nearest e-Mitra center or Atal Seva Kendra. And if the girl has already taken admission to the school then contact the same school. This is where the initial process of your application will start.
