What is Maharashtra Lek Ladki Yojana?

The Maharashtra government announced the Lek Ladki Yojana in 2023. Girls from families with low income in the state will get financial help under this scheme total of Rs. 1,01,000/- at different phase from birth till they turn 18. Girls born after April 1, 2023, are eligible for this scheme.

Benefits and Characteristics of Maharashtra Lek Ladki Yojana

1. The benefit of the Lek Ladki Yojana will be provided to daughters born in poor families of Maharashtra.
2. In Maharashtra, orange ration cards will be given to households earning between Rs. 1 lakh and Rs. 15,000/-. Apart from this, anyone making Rs 15,000 or more in cities receives yellow ration cards.
